Founded in the19th Century in the year 1872, the Association has a long and proud history serving and promoting Spiritualism.  Some 137 year later, the Association remains at the forefront of promoting Spiritualism, the best of Mediumship and Spiritual Healing.

The primary purpose of the SAGB is to offer evidence through Mediumship of the continuation of the personality after physical death, and to relieve suffering through Spiritual Healing.

Service is at the very heart of Spiritualism. It is an ideal upon which the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain is founded. It continues to be as relevant today as it was in 1872.

The Metaphysical Society for the Expansion of Consciousness

Metaphysics is a philosophy that maintains we live in a Universe of Infinite Intelligence which permeates all of existence. Our Spiritual Nature is one of total harmony, at One with the Intelligence.

When we are out of alignment with our True Self, we experience conflict and difficulties. The work of a Metaphysical Practitioner is to uncover these imbalances in our belief system, thus restoring equilibrium to help us move forward.
